Tired of the endless “cures” that don’t work?
If you have problems sleeping, you know what the next day is going to bring. Exhaustion, fatigue, irritability, inability to concentrate, no energy to perform even the simplest tasks, feel like beating up everyone in sight.
Maybe you’ve tried some or other medication or even alcohol, which helped at first but soon that stopped working and even worsened the situation. You may even be on several “solutions”, all contributing to worsening things but what do you do?
By now you’re probably feeling all of the above symptoms and a whole list of others. Fatigue has taken on a whole new meaning. Yet, strangely enough, despite the exhaustion you still can’t sleep.
Is there anything that can really help?
Most people know that you need calcium to build healthy bones and teeth but did you know that it contracts muscles, while magnesium relaxes them?
Think of a heartbeat. The heart must contract, then relax to perform its function of pumping blood through the body. If you’re deficient in one or the other, it can cause a malfunction.
Calcium is a basic building block and deficiencies affect the nervous system, while a magnesium deficiency interferes with nerve and muscle transmission impulses.
How could that affect sleep?
Well, if your muscles and nerves are not able to send the impulses needed to relax your body, the result can lead to an inability for the body to relax and prepare for sleep.
